Suggestion
It really depends on the time of day and the purpose. I like the square (outdoors), the boutiques, Tiny Tim's and of course, BORDINOS!
Suggestion
I love Boulders and Brews so much! I always go there to meet friends because climbing is a great, low stress opportunity to get to know someone!
Suggestion
I love the history and the accessibility of everything. Everything is within walking distance, and there are so many places with historical and cultural context to link it to Fayetteville and the success of the town.
Suggestion
Free parking. I work in Downtown, and it's difficult to walk to your car late at night 3 blocks down, just because free parking is not an option. I would also come if it felt a little safer walking in downtown at night.
Suggestion
TheatreSquared is a great place, and also all of the amazing establishments like Maxines, Pinpoint, Cheers at the OPO, The Collective, and many other places that have been in downtown Fayetteville so long.
Suggestion
More lighting and safety features on streets connected to Dickson and the Ramble. No one should have to feel unsafe walking around their city!
Suggestion
I think the ramble needs more horticulture, and Dickson Street and connecting streets could use more flowers and floral decor.
Suggestion
TheatreSquared for a mid-day meeting, but Maxine's Taproom for an after work meeting! Maxine's is such a staple, and TheatreSquared is such an amazing place for meetings and community.
Suggestion
I love the small businesses that add character to the downtown area
Suggestion
My family loves to go to Boulders and Brews when we come up to visit. Not only is it a great place to exercise but it’s so much fun. Thank you so much Fayetteville for leaving quality places like Boulders and Brews instead of more housing.
Suggestion
Native plant gardens all around the Square!
Suggestion
More restaurant options. Wine bar.
Suggestion
More housing NOT aimed at college students. NOT apartment buildings but townhomes, rowhomes, small cottages on small lots...like most larger cities have. And public transportation! Everyone's lifestyle would improve with more public transportation options in areas they frequent.
Suggestion
More rooftop gardens!
Suggestion
Probably the lower/upper ramble. Hang out there and leave the area to eat. Downtown is not fun to navigate for eating etc. these days, especially family-oriented places.
Suggestion
Farmer's market, Calle, Little Bread Co.
Suggestion
Public Transportation
Suggestion
The overall density and walkability. Both could be improved but walking from the square to up and down Dickson is SO much nicer than it was 10+ years ago. The sidewalks and lighting have been improved.
Suggestion
Live music performances, more restaurants, bars, etc
Suggestion
We need a music performance pavilion in Fayetteville. There might not be space downtown but we need some kind of a shell for live music performances. Something similar to the Momentary in Bentonville.
Suggestion
We need a large office space building that could be headquarters for a medium/large company. That would increase foot traffic (and cars too of course). It would also increase demand for professional level adults (not students) which would further improve the economy (food, drink, services) downtown. The old hotel space on Mountain/College and the city lot along Church are good options
Suggestion
We need to continue to add shade trees along our sidewalks and trails. This isn't just a downtown thing but downtown sidewalks could use more shade (where space allows)
Suggestion
I like how small everything is. How close knit all the shops are and how most of them are local. Missing Common Ground right now.
Suggestion
Free parking at places like Boulder and Brews. If i can park at the gym and climb then go for dinner at Hammontrees, it would be so amazing. The boots have got to go.
Suggestion
It already exist. Its called Boulder and Brews. It is a climbing gym and a 3rd space for a number of different facets of people. I know people that are in school, have finished school, and people in different stages of their careers all in one place for the same thing! If anything were to happen to this gym, I hope it would be to get a taller roof.
Suggestion
I would invest in the community at Boulder and Brews. I work there and it is such an important part of my life and the life of students and working adults to blow off steam after bad day. It is an important part of the good days as well.
Suggestion
If the weather is nice let's sit on a bench in the gardens surrounding Cheers
Suggestion
Meet at Boulder & Brews gym. No better community for getting exercise and meeting new people to explore the outdoors. Walk-able from campus which is good for students. Youth teams for your kids to grow and learn to conquer fears. If the gym is forced to move then the community built there will hemorrhage.
Suggestion
I sleep where I can
Suggestion
Boulders and Brews, of course!!
Suggestion
I go to boulders and brews every single day. I love the climbing they have and the amazing community that I have gotten to know over the past two years. I could not imagine my life without the place. I have met pretty much everyone I know through them and it’s made such an impact on my life. LOVE IT🫶
Suggestion
I’ve been going to Boulders and Brews multiple times a week for a year now. I started going for the climbing but I have stayed for the amazing community. It’s the one place in Fayetteville where I feel the most connected with the city as a whole. Everyone has been super kind, and it’s a the unique kind of place that brings all sorts of people together.
Suggestion
Love the way the city mixes with nature the view of the downtown from mouny sequoyah is awesome would be even better if downtown was expanded!
Suggestion
if it was easier to find a free parking spot within easy walking distance or if there were at least some bus stops
Suggestion
A park thats easier to walk to from downtown than wilson park and has free parking
Suggestion
BRING BACK THE TACO BELL CANTINA also its great that its walkable but it would be nice to either have a free or cheap public parking garage because its impossible to find parking sometimes or expand the downtown area and make it easier to walk to from campus and College Avenue

Suggestion
True! This is a way to make fayetteville stand out compared to other cities that have bland generic art some are even using ai now
Suggestion
palm bushes and trees (i know we cant grow the big ones here but the ones in wilson park look cool) and also the cacti and just interesting and different plant life these dont have to be limited to downtown
Suggestion
Boulders and Brews feels like a second home to me. It has built such a strong community over the years and to see it go would be devastating.
Suggestion
Definitely Boulders and Brews. Probably the best "third space" anywhere in Fayetteville, everyone is incredibly sociable and friendly. If not there, then likely the ramble or somewhere on the square.
Suggestion
Better parking, public transportation, less construction & student housing. Downtown is being consumed by the university and the college lifestyle.
Suggestion
Boulders and Brews is the best community space downtown. They offer something for everyone and the location is unmatched. Being able to climb, study, or grab coffee all in one place between classes is a dream.
Suggestion
climbing gym, bars, and outside space!!!
Suggestion
Better parking that’s close and convenient.
Suggestion
Boulders and Brews gym is our community. We spend 3-4 evenings a week here and could not imagine life in Fayetteville without it! We meet up with friends for climbing, coffee, yoga, music, special events or to just chill and play ping pong. We must support local businesses like this one that allow for healthy habits and community engagement for all ages.
Suggestion
Businesses with more affordable products or services. Everything is a boutique/vintage/bougie/artisan whatever.
Suggestion
Boulders & Brews!
Suggestion
Boulders & Brews and Bugsy’s! The staff at both are great! Both locations are fun and inviting!
Suggestion
Boulders & Brews!
Suggestion
Boulders and Brews is my favorite spot in downtown. The people and community are awesome and I feel comfortable and welcomed there
